In her current role as Leader Customer Vulnerability at EnergyAustralia, Briar is responsible for leading the EnergyAssist team, Hardship Investment Program, Financial Inclusion Action Plan and Life Support. This role sees her provide exceptional customer experience through the delivery of sustainable customer support programs. Initiatives including appliance swaps, payment matching and unrecoverable debt waivers have been implemented during Briar’s time at EnergyAustralia resulting in greater support for customers.
Prior to joining EnergyAustralia, Briar spent 10 years in the banking industry leading teams that delivered strategic and operational change projects globally in the areas of in Human Resources, Property and Shared Services.
Briar is highly committed to supporting vulnerable customers and providing effective and alternate dispute resolution channels.
